Epiphany
I shared my word of the year for 2022 on Instagram several days ago and am late sharing here.
My word for this year makes perfect sense in retrospect. It was something I desperately needed after focusing so much time and attention on others.
And the six words following it… are a simple reminder should anyone have negative words to say about the subject. ;)
*backs up & starts over*
Hi y’all… I really do enjoy writing and sharing but 2021 was insane. My word last year FAMILY took on a life of its own in late July. I moved back in with my parents to help them with life. I never imagined that I would still be here all of these months later.
I am glad that I am able to be here for them but miss my husband and pups. I am working toward my ultimate goal of a home for us out here. Plugging away.
As 2021 drew to a close, two words kept reappearing in my thoughts. Very much in the same way as FAMILY did before. I tried to steer my word in other directions but nothing else felt right. At times my word felt selfish but then I would mention the idea to my mom and she would deny that thought saying that it was necessary.
Before I share my word, let’s look back at my past words of the year.
